This recording came from a group that was formed with the intent of performing the compositions of Wes Montgomery. For the past number of years we've been performing a kind of tribute on or close to Wes' birthday (March 6th). I felt that this group had a tight sound with good musical rapport, and thought it would be worthwhile to document it with this recording.
